The designing process is sometimes a long haul, and it is always helpful to have little helpers along the way to create solid designs that hopefully make sense. Test knitters (TKs) are one of the last (but not least) steps in my designing process.
Compensation may come in the form of yarn from my stash or free patterns from my Ravelry store. Sometimes the TK will need to use his/her own yarn, and sometimes I will provide the yarn. It just depends on the situation.
Typically, I like to give TKs between 2 weeks – a month to work on the piece. There are several things I ask TKs to do, which I will provide in written form once you’ve signed on for a project.
